1. Preventing neck pain during your flight
During a
long – haul flight, sitting or sleeping in the same position can make
muscles stiff and cause neck pain. Periodically stretching and donging
necks rolls can help combat this discomfort. Stretch and hold to each
side and do four and five rolls in one direction and then repeat in the
opposite direction to help reduce stiffness in joints and tightness in
mucscles.
If you’re
already experiencing neck pain or stiffness, you can rub your plams
until they become warm and then gently massage your neck. The heat from
your palsm will stimulate blood circulation to your posture – try to
keep your back and chin forward for proper spine alignment.
Finally, a good travel pillow offers support for the neck and can help you sleep on long flights.

2. Seat safety during takeoff and landing
As the
plane prepares for takeoff or landing, passengers are always reminded by
flight position, fasten their seatbelts and stow the tray tables in
front of them.
These are
compulsory requirements for aviation safety. During takeoff and landing,
the plane’s speed can change dramatically ( particularly in emergency
situations like an aborted takeoff or a hard brake ), and sitting in an
upright position with the seatbelt securely fastened helps passengers
advoice contact with the seat in front of them. At the same time, the
upright seatback also helps minimize obstructions in the unlikely event
of emergency evacuation.
So please
remember to set your seat to its upright position, stow the table in
front of you and fasten your seatbelt during takeoff and landing for
your own safety and the safety of your fellow passengers.
